Such a Sweetie!

I refuse to give my little man a pacifier.

We let our oldest have one and don't want to go back! It was worse then a blankie or a thumb anyday. My older little man sucks his thumb, but only when he has his blankie for bed-time. And my littlest lady sucks on her blanket like a pacifier.

So instead of buying my newborn a binky I help him find this thumb or this fingers to comfort himself with :) obviously he is satisfied :)

This is my younger daughter with her favorite blankie. She uses it like a pacifier - usually with one corner in her mouth - then she likes to find the others :)... too CUTE!

Pregnancy update

I'm 31 weeks pregnant this week and am feeling pretty round. It's hard been hard to breathe already with baby smooching things up in there. It's also been hard to sleep and get cumfy at night, lots of tossing and turning - which makes sleep not so good - which makes days long and tired. He's getting big in there...


As of yesterday I have exactly 60 days left to carry Mr. Baby around and thought I should look for some positive things instead of noticing too much of the negative.

So I looked back to a little chart I kept of my weight when I was pregnant with my oldest. I knew this would help put things in perspective because... here are my start weights with all my babies...

1. 165 lbs.
2. 170 lbs.
3. 175+ lbs?
4. 158 lbs!

The chart from my first shows me that at 21 weeks I weighed 177 lbs. and at 31 weeks (as I am now) I weighed 187 lbs. So on my fourth baby at 31 weeks I now weigh the same at I did from my first at 21 weeks! 177 lbs! I am still 10 below what I was 6 years ago!

This chart also showed me that I have less than 10 more pounds to gain (comparatively) till I am done... good warning to myself - "must still get bigger" :).

My son turned 4 over the weekend!

We went to the Aquarium, had a picnic over the Bay, light saber fights with daddy, a special birthday dinner with slurpees, then a bath and birthday brownies!!! it was fun...

There were Sea Turtles...

Anemones...

Jellies...

Star Fish...

And even Flamingos...

But my favorite was the many different kinds of Sea Horses...

They were Amazing!!!...

:) After the aquarium we stopped for some candy and the kids got the perfect stickers to match their personalities, lol!!! :)

Date Night

:) Hubby and I had a great date last Friday - best we've had in a long time.

We went to PF Changs for dinner and saw Alice in Wonderland 3-D, both new things for me :)

So much fun, thank you Muffin!

I chopped my Hair off!

I am determined to attacked my laziness, because I really feel it is the root of A LOT of my problems. So one of the ways to get me to take care of myself is... I chopped my Hair off and died it!!!
If it is short and crazy, I HAVE to style it, I really have no choice.
And if it's black I HAVE to wear at least a little make-up or I won't even look like I have eyebrows! :)
Also the poor preggers (me) was not sleeping well because my hair was getting stuck either under my own back at night, or my husband's! lol - not worth it!!!

Here is the front shot at home... sadly it really wasn't what I was going for... I was looking for more of a layered bang and a choppy crazy look on both sides, I also wanted it shorter in the back...

So I went back, and they "fixed" it... this is what I got... I had trouble styling it correctly ALL weekend at Jr High Camp, another thing to drive the emotional pregger crazyish!...

But then my good friend - who isn't a hairdresser at all - fixed it at my home on Monday...

I say she had MAD skills from the Lord and NEEDS to go to beauty collage!!!...

She totally gave me all the choppy crazies I was looking for...

And she got the back dead on to what I wanted... I didn't want bulk, I wanted to chop it off! well, here it is...

Fishie Ride Video

For my last Wordless or Wordful Wednesday I posted pics from my kids first trip to an amusement park... so I thought that this week I would post the video that goes along with those pics :)....

They LOVED this fishie ride. They were actually too short for it, but there were kids on it already that were smaller than them - and I knew they would be okay - so I hoped the ride attendant would let them on. They must have gone on it like 3 times that day :).

These pics were taken with my sister-in-law's camera when we went in October 2009, because I still did not have mine way back then - lol - soooo far back then.

Anyway here they are ready to go... yes I have three car seats crammed in the back of sedan :) we are looking to get a bigger one before the next baby comes :)...
