Thursday's Thing

As you know from my long update a couple posts ago I went to a crop last Saturday :o)

Well I just wanted to share with you something quite inspiring from a couple of the other croppers there - Creative Photo Cropping...

My friend Susan made the layout below, notice the awesome way she cropped her photo...

She told me she got the idea from another friend's book...

The book was called Photo Cropping by Making Memories.

Here is one of my favorite idea's right out of the book...

Isn't that AWESOME?!

(My hubby even thinks so, but I think he was paying more attention to the speeder bike the little girl is riding, lol!)

I have a photo of my son similar to the bottom one, and I love the way they scrapped that! Can I lift? Well, of course I can! Who’s gonna know, right? Those are awesome layouts.

Hey, I was just wondering if you’re going to mail out scrap party prizes soon. I haven’t wanted to bother you, what with all I read on your blog and at 5M4M. Just curious. I’m anxious. If you’re not up to it, I completely understand! I’ve been struggling with some issues myself, but scrapping seems to help.

That is pretty cool. And I’m not a scrapbook kind of girl. So, tell me, how does that work?

Ohh. That would also be very cool for a picture of bath time or a picture outside blowing bubbles.

I want to want to scrapbook!

&

Well, I just started selling Uppercase Living, so I’m a little obsessed over that.
I like to sew, but I’m not very good. I thought about taking a class, but I don’t have childcare available… well, I do… but I don’t really like to pay for babysitters and I’m scared of my inlaws ability to keep my children alive for a few hours.

I did half way do a scrapbook for my oldest daughter, but… I haven’t even started with my second. Bad mom, yes. One day, when they are older I’ll lots of time to do that. Right??

Found you via the Faith Sisters board, wanted to let you know that your blog link in your signature there is not working, it reads as : http://www.“http.com//scrappingservant.com/%22 and should read : http://scrappingservant.com/

Great blog btw! I just came across my copies of the photo cropping books the other day, and thought I should put them to use again, then I see your post with those fabulous layouts. Love that 2nd one, the color variations in the photo are perfect for that circle cropping style.
I’ve been a faith sister since they first started, I originally knew Michelle from another board. The past few months I’ve been MIA and was so happy to see so many new faces there since my last visit. It’s a wonderful place.
