Hi Carolyn! I’ve been wondering why you haven’t updated on your blog. I want you to know that I’ll be praying for you. I hope to see you soon. Maybe at the yearly “spot” for 4th of July w/ the Munoz’s.

Love & blessings,
Alicia

I’m concerned for you. Are you getting any help? My depression came after I had my last baby - a postpartum chemical imbalance. When the baby was around 6 months old, I was so bad that I went on medication. It made all the difference in the world for me - got me feeling normal again. I wrote a little about depression on my blog under the label - emotional healing.

Hi, Carolyn! I haven’t checked in with your blog lately but I do think about you. I am saying a special prayer for you right now.

Hello Friend, I have missed you and now I know why God has put you on my mind a lot recently! Be blessed and know that no matter what he loves you — even when we don’t love ourselves. I pray that he will give you peace in your storm and quiet your heart so that you can hear his gentle voice!

Carolyn,
I was just checking out different memes when I notice this
from just last week and that you didn’t look like you were posting! So this concerned me…because of my battles back
in the late 80s and early 90s with depression.

I don’t know if you have anyone there that is helping you through this but OUR LORD is always there and wants to help you through these days when your life seems to be spiraling
…down…and wants to reverse it…up…LOOK UP to HIM!
Focus on looking UP to the Problem Solver, Healer, the Almighty Lord, who hears and feels your pain or confusion.
He is not the author of confusion, that is the enemy of your soul…Our Lord only wants to bring His compassion and peace into your life, He wants you to know that you can let it go and He will carry your burden…cast all your cares upon me, for I care for you, Carolyn…says the Lord.

Yeah, I know when you are down…it doesn’t feel like it but that’s when you need to let your faith and trust come in and take over. That’s when you have to just get up and press forward! Since it looks to me like you are artistic, “scrapbooking”…maybe you need to start a new one or work on one already in progress! Talk a walk with your precious ones…or if you need a quiet moment away, ask someone to help you out and take care of them while you get a break! Be sure you let someone know how you are feeling like your family doctor or a close friend!

Anyways, I just wanted you to know someone care and is lifting a prayer for you today! May God be with you and bless your week, restoring you to 2 Timothy 1:7. Seek Him!

Ironically, that is a beautiful spiral staircase. But it doesn’t change the fact that depression can really suck. I’ve been in a funk myself, praying it doesn’t spiral beyond lack of motivation into depression with all these hormones going bezerk. Praying for you!!!!

hey- I could not put it better than the above comment-just wanted to stop by and say hi-that I was thinking of you and I know I have felt that old black hole lurking inside me again, not so much when I am at work, I guess I am just to busy there (but I am just thankful that I can work, there was a time when i was on short term disability because the depression was too bad) In the past, exercise really helped me, I would put on some headphones and listen to music while I walked. I am not doing that now and know I should be. well, I didn’t mean to go into any of that, I will keep you in my prayers!

I hope all is going well. I understand your battle as well.

is there something that we can pray for you specifically? If you don’t want to share that is also understood.

My heart is burdened and I will pray!
