On Friday night I took my daughter out to dinner, we went shopping for new jammies, then we went to a mother-daughter sleepover at my old church.
I took pictures :)...
We made bracelets...
She got her hair done... something mommy hasn't learned yet :)...
We snacked...
I tickled :)...
We "sardined" in the sanctuary :)....
... under the pews :)...
(Those two photos taken in the dark - I couldn't see a thing!)
We hung out with friends...
We tried to sleep :)...
We ate breakfast - I know, no food in the picture, you have to look at the frosting on her face :)...
And we had a GREAT time bonding!!! :)!!!!!.....
Also on Saturday I went to visit my sister, my little brother and to see my two neice's piano recital - they did a great job... and while I was there my youngest daughter's diaper leaked all over my pant-leg! :)
My brother is doing a little better emotionally, but still needs prayer for many other issues.
My sister took photos of her daughter and mine that are only like 7 months apart, she is doing so well with this new photography thing.
Here is her daughter (she was going for cheesy - do you think she hit it? :)...
When I got home from my sister's house my husband had an awesome surprise for me!!! He carpeted my scrap area in the garage! Totally awesome! Thank you hunny!!!! I'm so excited!
On Sunday was our church's Communion Day and Agape Feast. So me and my hubby had the pleasure of sitting in service together to listen to the pastor teach instead of being in with the youth group. We also had a great time fellow-shipping and eating afterwards.
When we got home I re-organized my scrap stuff from the move to get the carpet down, then I took a much needed nap. I woke up feeling sick and then I watched movies :). I watched Tinkerbell for the first time and totally thought it was blasphemous! (The part that made me the most upset is the short that comes on after the movie called 'Ever Wonder'. Part of it is on the site I just linked if you go to the right and scroll down with the leaf.)
I also watched Heros online with Joshie to get caught up to watch it Monday on TV... then we watched Eagle Eye together and went to bed.
This was one of the best weekends I've had in a while :).

Sounds like a great weekend! I can't wait until my daughter's hair is longer to do fun braids and such with it. Your niece is too cute, LOVE the tutu she's wearing! The bow + bunny ears definitely reached cheesy but in the cutest way, when else can we get those kind of pictures out of our kids? Your scrap area is awesome!
Your photos are adorable. I'm mom to two girls and I've always loved our mom/daughter outings. Today, they are both older, so we do Starbucks, movies, walks and we even go out for dinners. Each of them has a different favorite place. Glad I found your blog.
