Tuesday...

... was my 8 year wedding anniversary! And yes we made it through that dreaded 7th year with a bang! It was one of the hardest (my husband would say I planned to make it that way) but we are now better than we have EVER been! I love this man so much!!!!

Look at the blessings we had that day...

This was the garden in back of the Bed & Breakfast, with a pond behind it, the forest behind that and the ocean just beyond the forest.

This was our view from where we were blessed to have dinner.

This was the back of the Bed & Breakfast from the trail that I just HAD to walk Monday night in the dark because I wanted to walk on the beach! That was adventurous!!! I'm sure it made Josh feel rugged as I was squeezing his hand the entire way. (Picture taken the next morning when we walked the trail again to see where we had REALLY gone.) Oh and we didn't get to walk on the beach - I think we would have died with the rainy, windy weather, in the dark at HIGH tide!!!

This pic is from a bench just above a small hill you walk down to get on the beach... where we stopped the night before :).

This is the stream that comes from the pond (full of frogs) that the trail leads you along.

And this is just one of the signs we saw on our journey - comforting!

This is the small bridge I was scared to cross at night - thinking that there was a lot more water under it :). When you can hear but you cannot see, things can get a little freaky! Like when we suddenly heard all of the frogs stop croaking at once - what were they afraid of???

This was on the way back when the trail started to widen again, very comforting, and beautiful.

Oh! And this is a lighthouse we stopped at on our BEAUTIFUL drive back home! It was not in working order, sad - but still very pretty.
