January 23: That's not trail-mix ladies! This is what I picked up off our carpeted dining-room floor before I vacuumed! Yum-yum!! My F.I.L was like "eewhh don't share a picture of that!" but I told him the other Mommy-Bloggers would be able to relate :o).
January 24: This was just some of the food we were blessed with from the church getting "left-overs" from Trader Joes... mmm Zucchini! Thank you Lord for noticing our need and for providing, I love You!
January 25: This was my daughter getting into mischief instead of taking her nap! Typical Sunday afternoon!
January 26: This is my favorite salad with some free grapes added :o)
January 27: This was my son getting into mischief - not long after I left the room he poured my whole cup of juice into his dump-truck! Sigh!
This was me giving the drump-truck a bath :o)
This was me giving the drump-truck a bath :o)
January 28: These were made from more of the free food we received! A fresh whole chicken and some tortillas! I boiled the chicken, de-boned it (I hate doing that!!!), shredded it, seasoned it (salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin, and that powered chicken bullion stuff:). Then I rolled it in the flour tortillas with jack cheese, brushed them with a little olive oil and baked them! This really was a hit - and fun to make too!
January 29: Today is Bible study day - but me and the kids have colds with a fever and I have more than half of my study to finish, so I am not sure I will be going :o( I don't want to get anyone else sick and I might just wanna rest when my hubby wubby gets home from work.
Please pray for us, especially since we have been off and on sick a lot, I really want to see my lil brother and he has a pass to go home from the hospital tomorrow night!... we are supposed to have dinner with him!

i plan on playing the first of February...sounds fun!
The taquitos look great. I will make them this weekend, seems easy enough. How long did you back them for and what temp? Hope you feel better.... Nat
Carolyn, I loved reading & looking at all the pics!!!! Fabulous!
Praying for you guys to get better! I know how much you want to be at your brothers homecoming!
My kiddo does stuff VERY similar to your kiddos. I haven't had juice in a toy yet but I am SURE that's coming. And my floor would look EXACTLY the same if I didn't have a huge chocolate lab that eats food before it hits the floor.
That first photo had me cracking up! Yep, I can relate. :o)
The chicken taquitos look yummy!
Yay I am so Happy for him...I am also sorry I have not been around lately But I have a ton to do with moving and we just got home from vacation..Of course we will pray for you and of course we are rejoicing with you about your little brother!
The taquitos look delicious! Good job! I hope you are feeling better :o)
The chicken roll-ups look great! I've always wanted to try to make those.
Oh, those chicken taquitos look fab!! Who knew you could oven-fry them?? Not I. ;)
Even with the illness in your home, it still looks like you had a good week:-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog (and even commenting!) Loved this meme - I may have to do it :) Your kids are adorable!
Blessings!
Dagnabit! There are no Jack in the Box restaurants in Florida!! That salad looks so great!
ACK! Sorry I am just now getting around to commenting. It's been a busy week. :)
Your 1/23 photo has me LOL. If ever my family is snowed in here without food, we could probably survive for a few days on what's left under the couch cushions. ;)
1/27 - Hmm, our kids must be related. Only when my kiddo did that, it was sweet tea and I didn't find it for a week. By that time it had congealed and was just GROSS!
1/28 - I'm so trying that recipe!
1/29 - Hope you're feeling better.
Oh, your comment on my blog was as a "no reply" (didn't have your email) so I'll answer your question here. The trick with the eye photo is to get as close up a shot as possible, in really good indirect daylight. It's tricky, but can be done!
Your taquitos look so good. What temp did you use to bake them?
