I don't actually see my brother a lot under "normal" circumstances, and even though I seem to adore scrapbooking I am really not all that good at making sure pictures get taken.

Two nights before my brother's accident he stopped over at my new house just to see what it was like and I started taking random pictures of him - I'm so glad I did!!!

God gave me a song to hold onto!

I have been singing to my lil brother in the ICU and random old school worship songs have been coming back to me. This one was a total Godsend today to encourage my heart!!!!

PLEASE PRAY!!!!!!!!

My brother is in the hospital! He has been since Monday afternoon. He is in the ICU in critical condition. He got in an accident on an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle). The doctors and nurses have him stabilized, they have been keeping him sedated these four days. They had him on a paralytic at first and now he is off it... he is responding so soo well! He has been moving his right foot and right hand very well and his left is moving little bits here and there.

This morning my sister was asking him questions and and he was answering yes or no by wiggling his finger up and down or side to side!! He even waved all his fingers bye bye to my uncle!!! We are all overjoyed at this! He is in for an MRI now - so I snuck away to use the hospital's computer!

Please pray specifically for the swelling in his brain to go down, for the mid-brain damage they think he has, the facial fractures and for his eyes to repond better.

Also pray that Satan would have NO WORK in dividing my family through this tough time... thank you everyone - I love you all!

A Long Update

Let me just say that I love that my photos always remind me of what I have done, because without some kind of reminder my brain would take forever to access that information!

Just call me Dory (like on Finding Nemo) I have short term memory loss! LOL!!!

So, I've been MIA for about a month now - I am fine - thank you for your concern! I actually (finally) moved! Very exciting news for my entire family...

... but let's get the details in between....

• I bought jeans that gave me back A SHAPE!!!

• My little brother turned 13!
  

• My 3rd little niece was dedicated to the Lord at my sister's church. She's such a Godsend. (Picture from my sister the photographer :o)
  

• I lived in my old (smaller) house with my in-laws for 2 1/2 weeks and survived!
  

• My Grandpa on my mom's side passed away - he was the GREATEST example of someone who loved Jesus with all their mind, soul and strength - he was beautiful all the time!
• We went to his memorial and got to visit with all my long lost Uncles (wonderful!) my kids even played with some of my Uncle's kids - it was so cute!

• My kiddos got a tummy bug right when my in-laws were living with us and we all survived!!! (This pic my daughter drew on her Magna-Doodle - it's supposed to be of a cat drinking water - but I thought it was fitting for the subject :o)
  

• A good friend of the family passed away from a virus that was eating his heart :o(
  

• Another good friend was injured serving in Afghanistan, he is now in the U.S. and we have been praying.
  

Very interesting month for me.

My Walk Monday

I don't have much to say today other than I am extremely happy in my walk because I have been listening to Bible teachings all day on my computer!

There was one particular pastor (I think it was Paul Sheppard) this morning that hit me right on the nail. It was wonderful to hear so straight from God, but I do wish I were taking notes!

Maybe I will ask my hubby if I can purchase the recorded version? :o)
